Meredith Heights HOA owns and maintains areas and features of the community for the benefit and enjoyment of residents.

  • Pedestrian trail to Raab Park

RV Storage Area

The recreational vehicle storage area on Mt. Townsend Drive is a locked parking area for Meredith Heights homeowners only. The HOA board has added new spaces and updated the management system for the RV lot as of April 2024. Our goal is to emphasize flexibility and maximize use of the space to accommodate as many homeowners as possible.

Configuration:
  • Space assignments are based on the size and type of the vehicle and may be subject to change.
  • Configuration and assignment of spaces will be revisited periodically and adjusted to accommodate changes in vehicle types and sizes. If the number of spaces is reduced (e.g., due to an owner changing to a larger vehicle), the last in will be the first out.
RV lot layout
Process:
  • There is a first-come, first-served waitlist for those requesting space (see below). When space becomes available it will be offered to the next on the list. Payment will be required within 14 days.
  • The annual rental fee is $240.
  • The homeowner’s annual dues must be up to date as a prerequisite for renting a space.
  • The homeowner must complete the rental agreement.
Types of vehicles:
  • Class A, B, or C RVs
  • Travel trailers and fifth wheels
  • Boat trailers
  • Small boats without trailers (including kayaks)
  • Other small trailers
  • The RV lot is limited to recreational vehicles only, unless there are vacant spaces, in which case the Board will consider renting vacant spaces for other non-commercial vehicles. If another homeowner requests a recreational vehicle space, the non-recreational vehicle will no longer be accommodated.

  • Large space: none currently available
  • Small space: available depending on vehicle
  • Kayak: (pending installation of rack)

Street Lights

Meredith Heights street lights are managed by Puget Sound Energy (PSE). Please report outages or other streetlight issues directly to PSE here.

Common Areas and Open Space Management and Maintenance

Common Areas refers to pocket parks (tracts D, G, and I), the RV storage area (tract H), and the pedestrian access to Raab Park (tract J). Common areas are subject to the Forest Management Plan. There is an ongoing effort to bring the original Forest Management Plan from 2000 up to date. A draft will be shared with homeowners before adoption.

Open Spaces refers to the west and east greenbelt slopes (tracts C, F, and L), the Gustav Parcel (tract K), and the planting area along the pedestrian path (tract E).

Note that tract A (stormwater facilities at the corner of Sunrise Ridge Ave and Caldart Ave) and tract B (stormwater facilities south of Mt. Kamela Ct.) of the Meredith Heights plat, and tract D of the Austurbruin plat (the HOA sign) belong to the City of Poulsbo, but the HOA has the right and obligation to maintain landscaping on these areas.
